Hello, I'm Bob Staples and I am a Sole Practitioner Real Estate Broker in Oregon. My wife and I relocated to Newberg, in Yamhill County from, and you are not going to believe this, Maui, Hawaii.  Yes, we moved from Paradise to what we consider an even nicer Paradise.  I specialize in representing people selling real estate.  My particular skills are a great match with those necessary to market and sell real estate in this era of the Internet and the rapidly changing world of information technology.  More about my skills in the About Bob section.

My preference is to work with Sellers because that is where my skills and greatest experience are. Real estate has entered a new paradyme with the internet, high quality digital photography and the ability to display it on the internet.  While working in real estate on Maui for six years, I sought to perfect the art of selling real estate using much of what the internet age offers...the ability to display high quality photography via slide shows, photo galleries, video tours, downloadable brochures and printable photographs.

Who is Bob?

A 30 year executive in the high tech industry, I spent 20 of those years as a VP Finance and Chief Financial Officer, taking the last company I worked for public in 1997 and "retiring" in 2000 to pursue more personal interests. We moved to Maui, Hawaii, where, among other interests, I obtained my real estate brokers license and enjoyed working full time in real estate for six years.  I developed a successful practice focusing on assisting sellers marketing luxury resort residential homes and investment vacation rental condos to an international buyer base.  During this time I earned several certifications, including CRS, ABR, GRI and ePRO.

When we looked for a place to live in Oregon, we traveled throughout the Willamette Valley and found Yamhill County to offer all the features we were looking for...a semi rural environment, first class wineries, a home with some land, a location with great views of the Willamette Valley and Coastal Range to the West and Cascades to the East.  This area has four seasons, yet a mild winter and summer, as compared to areas more inland and at higher altitudes.
